SPANISH LEVELS
WHAT IS MY STANDARD?
All our courses follow the level descriptors established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (here) and we can also prepare our students for the GCSE, A Level or DELE exams.
If you are not sure about your standard of Spanish, please send us a message describing your experience with the Spanish language and we will advise you on which level to choose. For example, you can tell us about courses you have completed, countries you have visited, holidays you have had in Spain or Latin America, your level of interaction with Spanish speaking partners or friends etc.
This option is better than taking a level test, as level tests usually calculate your results based only on your knowledge of grammar. In our experience, some students don’t have a great command of grammar, but can understand the language and make themselves understood. This is important when choosing the right level too. So, by letting us know about your experience we will be able to determine your level.
